Vista not opening after Trimble ID login

Issue:

The Vista desktop app launches and opens to the standard login screen.

You can click “Sign In with Trimble ID” and complete the sign-in process as usual. However, after signing in with your Trimble ID, the Vista app crashes or fails to open.

Resolution:

On a PC that can successfully launch the Vista desktop application, navigate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Viewpoint Construction Software\Vista\bin

Copy the bin folder to an external thumb drive. Then, on the affected PC, navigate to the same file path, delete the existing bin folder, and replace it with the copied bin folder from the PC that launches Vista successfully.
